TabCubby ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps you organize browser tabs into named workspaces. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

TabCubby stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Workspace names, descriptions, and color preferences you create
• Tab titles, URLs, domains, and favicons you choose to save
• Your dark/light mode preference

This data is stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local, which is private to your browser profile and never transmitted outside your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect any personally identifiable information
• We do not track your browsing history
• We do not send any data to external servers or third parties
• We do not use analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services
• We do not use cookies

3. Permissions

TabCubby requests the following Chrome permissions:

• storage — to save your workspaces and preferences locally
• tabs — to read the title, URL, and favicon of tabs you choose to save

These permissions are used solely to provide the core functionality of the Extension. Tab information is only accessed when you explicitly click "Save current tab" or "Save all tabs."

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party under any circumstances. All data remains on your local device.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data persists in your browser until you delete it. You can remove all stored data at any time using the "Reset data" button in the TabCubby Options page, or by uninstalling the Extension.

6. Children's Privacy

TabCubby does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The Extension does not collect personal information from any users.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
